In the rolling hills of Castilenti, where time flows slowly among centuries-old olive trees, EVO Isabel is born. It is not just a product, but a story that intertwines deep roots and a love that has breathed new life into an ancient tradition.
In 1930, the Italian agriculture yearbook proudly mentioned the four olive mills of Castilenti, including the mill of the Lupinetti Biagio family. Here, extra virgin olive oil was produced using stone mills, with dedication and artisanal care.
With the post-war crisis and industrialization, the Lupinetti mill was forced to close. The stone mills fell silent, covered in the dust of time.
Years later, Manolo Lupinetti had the opportunity to repurchase the house where the family mill once stood. He discovered the old stone mills and the stories of a past that seemed eager to come back to life. He decided to transform the old mill into a space dedicated to the sale of olive oil and pasta, restoring the mills as a testament to a tradition worth telling.
Isabel with love and positivty entered Manolos life, and they grew their family together in Abruzzo. Manolo decided to call the company "Isabel" to share the energy of a strong and loving relationship, that they have between them and that the company has with their clients.
Our olive groves are located in Abruzzo, a rugged and rural land dotted with cliffs and rolling hills. Olive cultivation is hard work, but the reward is an exceptional harvest. Abruzzo, known as the granary of Rome, is one of Italy’s most important agricultural centers.
Our olive trees grow on the hills surrounding the medieval villages of Castilenti and Atri. The combination of north and south-facing sun exposure allows the trees to receive consistent sunlight throughout the day, ensuring olives of the highest quality.
Our heritage and passion have been passed down for generations. We follow traditional methods, listening to nature and harvesting the olives only when they are perfectly ripe. The pressing takes place the same day to preserve every nuance of taste and aroma.
